🤝 In Gratitude: To Everyone Who Reached Out When I Fell Silent
They say you find out who your people are when things fall apart, Not when you get promoted, Not when your campaigns break records.
But when the dashboards go dark, the emails stop coming, and the only thing echoing in your head is: What now?
I was laid off. And I’ll be honest—it stung. It wasn’t just the job I lost. It was momentum. Structure. Identity.
But then… something unexpected happened.
People showed up.
💬 The DMs I Didn’t Expect
Some were family, some were friends, some were ex-colleagues and then some were people I hadn’t spoken to in years.
“Heard the news—sending good vibes your way.”
“I know someone hiring. Can I connect you?”
“Let’s catch up. No agenda.”
I believe that in a world that’s so obsessed with visibility and engagement, these quiet messages carried more weight than any performance review.
They reminded me a very important thing.
Building Relationships.
These were people that made sure that I wasn’t alone. That my work had mattered. That I mattered.
🔍 Leads, Connections, and the Magic of Generosity
I was blown away by how many people offered to help because each of them reached out to me in their own way — some without even waiting to be asked.
Few of them helped share my resume to their circles, they created LinkedIn groups, added me to it and connected me with people.Â
A friend forwarded my resume internally.
A mentor recommended me for a freelance gig.
Someone I only knew from LinkedIn sent me a list of open roles with personalised notes on each.
In the middle of rejection emails and ghosted applications, these acts of kindness became little lifelines. They didn’t just keep my job search alive—they kept my spirit alive.
After all this, when a few more interviews did not go through and I was completely lost, wondering what next.Â
That’s when Adittya stepped in.
Not with empty words. But with action. He didn’t just check in — he handed me the reins. He gave me work. Purpose. Support. And something even more powerful — belief.
He said, join me. Today, I work with Adittya, building clients & business. But I’m doing it under his roof, using his company name, with his backing and most importantly, without any pressure.
That kind of trust, faith in a person? It’s rare and I won’t forget it.
🧠What Adittya Taught Me Without Saying a Word
That support doesn’t have to be loud — it just needs to be consistent.
That leaders create leaders, not dependencies.
That sometimes, what people need is permission to rebuild, not pity.
I’m still figuring things out. But I’ve got momentum now. Because someone gave me a place to start again—without judgment, without expectations.
🙌 So, thank you, Adi.
For the support.
For the structure.
For letting me use your platform to stand up again.
And most importantly—for reminding me that I’ve still got it.
When this story turns into a success — I’ll remember who handed me the pen when I thought the chapter was over.
🧠What all of this Taught Me
- Your reputation travels further than your resume.
People remembered how I made them feel. The way I collaborated. The effort I put in. Those things matter more than any title. - Relationships are the real currency.
We chase results, but it’s the relationships we build that show up when results don’t.
People want to help — if you let them.
I was hesitant to post about my layoff, worried it might look desperate. But the moment I opened up, help poured in. Vulnerability created connection.
🙏 To Those Who Helped Me — This Is for You
You may not realize how much your message meant. Your forward, your tag, your call—it may have seemed like a small thing to you. But to me, it was a reminder that I wasn’t invisible.
Thank you.
For seeing me.
For believing in me.
For helping me move, even when I felt stuck.
This blog is my version of a standing ovation — to every kind soul who chose to show up when you didn’t have to.
✨ And To Anyone Going Through This Right Now
Reach out.
Share.
Ask.
You’ll be surprised at how many people want to help — if only you let them.
You don’t have to navigate this alone and you don’t have to be “fine” all the time. Your tribe exists and sometimes, it finds you in the most unexpected moments.
🧶 Final Note
This chapter of my life has been uncomfortable, uncertain, and unplanned. But it’s also been deeply human.
If there’s one thing I’ll carry with me — it’s this:
Success is not just about what you build. It’s about who you build it with — and who stands by you when everything crashes.
Thank you, to all of you who stood by me. This comeback? It’s yours too.
