💊 Reimagining Medicine Pages for Better UX, SEO, and Revenue Uplift at MediBuddy

MediBuddy had medicine pages created for individual SKUs. However, these pages had been created with the intention to capture traffic, not for driving revenue. They were failing both users and search engines — low engagement, poor visibility, and suboptimal conversions. The user journey was broken, the content unstructured, and technical issues hampered discoverability. To fix this, we undertook a full-stack overhaul: from UX to schema to SEO. The outcome? Higher-quality traffic, a 40% revenue jump, and a scalable framework.
🎯 Objective
To improve the organic performance and conversion rate for medicine pages by enhancing:
- User flow & page experience
- Search engine visibility (SEO)
- Content credibility and structure
🔍 Audit & Research: Foundations First
We began by identifying every bottleneck in the old system:
- Structure of our pages
- Poorly structured content
- No product images
- Technical SEO gaps / misses such as canonicals, schemas, tags etc
To course-correct, we:
- Conducted a detailed competitive benchmarking across top players
- Created a MECE framework covering 30+ parameters including composition, usage etc.
- Prioritized UX and SEO parity with market leaders before going live
- Created content and got them reviewed by actual doctors to improve the quality.
🛠️ Execution:
Phase 1: Pilot Launch
- Designed SEO-optimized, user-friendly templates and launched initial pages to understand the performance.
- Integrated clean URL structures, meta tags, H1–H6 headers
- Implemented canonical tags to mitigate duplication.
Phase 2: Vetting & Validation
- Added doctor names to on-page schema and visual modules for credibility
- A/B tested old vs. new pages before full-scale redirects
Phase 3: Scale
- Rolled out 301 redirects from old URLs to new
- Continuously monitored for crawl issues, broken links, and ranking deltas
📈 Results: Quality Over Quantity Pays Off
- +40% increase in revenue from the new pages
- 1/8th the traffic but higher engagement, leading to better ROI
- Month-over-month growth in organic visits sustained since launch
- Improved crawl frequency and indexation on updated URLs
*Growth in traffic in just 3 months.
💡 Key Takeaways
- Better UX + SEO is a multiplier — not a trade-off
- Doctor-led content enhanced trust and improved schema visibility
- A phased rollout helped test, learn, and optimize before scaling
- Technical cleanups (SSR, canonical, schema) are non-negotiable for modern SEO
